Job Description
Manufacturing Engineer

* The Manufacturing Engineer will support client's aftermarket shop in Rocky Mount, North Carolina, focusing on manufacturing engineering rather than design engineering. 
* This role involves creating repair instructions, supporting technicians in real-time, revising documentation, creating tooling, and improving process efficiency. 
* The ideal candidate will have experience in aerospace, repair, and overhaul facilities.

Key Responsibilities:
• Design, develop, and test all aspects of mechanical components, equipment, and machinery.
• Apply knowledge of engineering principles to design products such as engines, instruments, controls, robots, machines, etc.
• Involve in fabrication, operation, application, installation, and/or repair of mechanical products.
• Support technicians performing repair and overhaul processes.
• Create and revise repair instructions, documentation, and tooling.
• Improve process efficiency and support work scoping to reduce repair time.
• Provide real-time support to technicians and revise documentation as needed.

Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in engineering.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in aerospace manufacturing, repair, and overhaul.
• Proficiency in 3D modeling software (e.g., NX, SolidWorks, AutoCAD).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Suite, especially Excel.
• Preferred skills: VBA coding, test software, project management software (e.g., Jira, Smartsheets, SAP), Lean Six Sigma certification, Scrum Master, or Agile experience.
• Knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures within the field.
• Ability to work under immediate supervision and follow pre-established guidelines.
