Any experience in designing sensors or sensor housing.

• Need an experienced Mechanical/sensor engineer to lead/support multiple sensor projects/tasks in developing and qualifying sensors used in environmental control systems, including temperature sensors, flow sensors and pressure sensors. • Works with cross functional teams in performing trade studies, developing/validating detailed requirements, preparing development/qualification plans, designing, analyzing and qualifying sensor products. • Overall technical coordination within the engineering functions supporting sensor development ensuring all customer requirements are met. • Accountable for product design quality including reviewing and approving design documents and reports. • Provide technical leadership in customer design reviews, technical co-ordination meetings and internal reviews with support from appropriate functional groups as required. • Establish and maintain detailed technical plans and schedules; provide regular status to project engineering and management. • Prioritize and manage multiple projects/activities; provide status report • BEng /BSc in Mechanical or Mechatronics with minimum of 6 years of experience • Candidate with prior experience in designing and developing Temperature sensor, Flow Sensor and/or Pressure Sensor is preferred. • Experience in Finite Element Analysis, Fluid Mechanics and/or CFD Flow Simulations is an asset • Experience in modelling tools such as Ansys and/or MATLAB is an asset • Knowledge of 3D Mechanical design and experience with GD&T |
