• Leading the full lifecycle develop of embedded real time safety critical navigational software. • These solutions are defined from requirements, implemented in code, verified in simulation & hardware testing, and certified with government and safety organizations as part of Aerospace Products.
• Requirements decomposition and work assignments • Sensor management & navigational feature definition & design • Software architecture and coding of Realtime OS • Integration & System activities • Certification & Artifacts • Unit Test & coordination of External Verification & Validation activities • Factory deployment and support • Ability to code in multiple languages
YOU MUST HAVE • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, or Physics • 7+yrs of quantified experience in software engineering using ADA • Must be U.S. Citizen (single citizenship)
WE VALUE • Understanding various software development lifecycle (waterfall, Agile) • Demonstrate the ability to develop efficient and high-quality embedded software and architecture DDC-I DeOS operating system Inertial Sensor usage GPS (SASSM or M-Code) Kalman Filter implementation or optimization • Developed software in certified or regulated safety environments (Ada & C/C++) OpenArbor Ada toolset • Knowledge of software configuration management and change management practices GIT / BitBucket Jira • Diverse and global teaming and collaboration • Effective communicator • Team leadership and coordination experience • Can quickly analyze, incorporate, and apply new information and concepts • Ability to consistently make timely decisions even in the face of complexity, balancing systematic analysis with decisiveness • Ability to convey subtle or complex messages clearly, as appropriate for the topic and audience
