• The Engineering Support Specialist supports engineering and development programs by managing material planning, procurement coordination, supplier follow-up, and inventory activities. • This role works closely with engineers, buyers, and suppliers to ensure materials are available to meet program schedules. • The ideal candidate is organized, proactive, and experienced with SAP.
Responsibilities • Manage materials required for engineering and new development programs. • Create purchase requisitions and coordinate with buyers and suppliers. • Track orders, monitor inventory, and maintain accurate SAP records. • Follow up with suppliers to ensure on-time delivery of materials. • Support engineering teams by coordinating material availability and resolving supply issues.
Qualifications • High school diploma or equivalent required. • 0-2 years of experience in material management, purchasing support, inventory control, engineering support, or a related field. • SAP experience required; global purchasing experience preferred. • Strong organizational, communication, and follow-up skills. • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
