Job Description

• As a SR ENG Technician - here at , you will play a crucial role in supporting our aerospace testing operations. 
• Your expertise will contribute to the evaluation and validation of aircraft systems and components, ensuring they meet the highest standards of performance and safety. 
• While performing operational testing on a variety of inertial navigation production this can be tasks including but not limited to: set-up, calibration, and testing and troubleshooting of instruments, DC circuits, assemblies, components, and other systems and equipment. 
• In the Sr Eng Test Technician role, you’ll be critical to the successful production and technical support for our
• Engineering and other teams in ensuring our products achieve their intended functions and delivery schedule in a satisfactory manner to all of our
customers.
• In this role, you will impact the efficiency and reliability of our aerospace products by conducting rigorous testing and analysis, providing critical data
that informs design and engineering decisions.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Conduct tests on aerospace systems and components to evaluate performance and compliance with specifications.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to troubleshoot issues and implement solutions based on test findings.
• Work at a level of Engineering Troubleshoot and provide data for Failure Review Board (FRB) investigation.
• Determines compliance to test specifications, using methods and procedures from drawings, standard work and diagrams.
• May assist in the selection and set-up of specialized test equipment.
• May provide guidance to entry level production test technicians and support workers in the execution of production testing tasks.
• Measure medium complexity hardware.
• Manage lab equipment inventory and provide feedback on lab improvements.
• Document procedures and findings and effectively communicate these to key stakeholders.

Qualifications

YOU MUST HAVE:

• Minimum of 3 years of experience as an engineering technician or a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of aerospace testing methodologies and standards.
• Ability to read and interpret schematics.
• Ability to troubleshoot at system level.
• Ability to troubleshoot down to component level.
• Perform test station assembly, qualification, troubleshooting and repair.
• Proficiency in using testing equipment and software tools relevant to aerospace applications (CIRTS, DEWESOFT, ect.).
• Experience with data analysis and reporting to support engineering decisions.
• Knowledge of equipment associated within the Test functions in a manufacturing environment.
• Basic computer skills (Word, Excel, Timekeeping system, Solumia, etc.).
