Job Description

• Do you have any aerospace industry experience or experience relating to mechanical testing?
• What is your education? ( minimum College level Mechanical Engineering technician).
• Provide an example of a situation in which you followed a complex set of procedures that led to a successful outcome

• Performs vibration testing on flight and development hardware. 
• A college level diploma in Mechanical Engineering technology is required.

• The candidate will provide vibration and shock test services for flight and qualification hardware. 
• Working with a senior technologist, the candidate will learn all aspects of vibration testing space hardware including following test procedures, designing and procuring fixtures, vibration surveys, instrumenting with accelerometers, running a vibration control system and generating reports of test results.

• The candidate must have outstanding mechanical aptitude coupled with a solid knowledge and understanding of test systems and a basic knowledge of electronics. • Additionally, we are looking for a candidate who is meticulous in following work instructions and has outstanding problem solving skills. 
• They must be familiar with Mechanical Assembly concepts, basic electronics and standard MS Office software packages. 
• Works under general supervision; typically reports to a supervisor or manager. 
• A certain degree of creativity and latitude is required.
