Senior ServiceNow Application Developer
• We are seeking a Senior ServiceNow Application Developer who is responsible for designing, developing, configuring, and supporting custom applications and platform enhancements on the ServiceNow platform. • This role serves as a senior technical contributor, working closely with architects, platform owners, and business stakeholders to deliver scalable, secure, and high quality ServiceNow solutions aligned with enterprise standards and best practices.
Job Duties / Responsibilities
• Design, develop, and maintain custom ServiceNow applications using scoped applications and platform features • Configure and customize ServiceNow modules using Business Rules, Script Includes, Client Scripts, UI Policies, and Flow Designer • Develop server side and client side logic using JavaScript and ServiceNow APIs • Collaborate with architects and stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions • Ensure solutions adhere to ServiceNow best practices for performance, security, and maintainability • Perform unit testing, support integration and user acceptance testing (UAT), and resolve defects • Support platform upgrades, patching, and regression testing activities • Troubleshoot and resolve complex application and platform issues • Create and maintain technical documentation, including design specifications and configuration details • Mentor junior developers and participate in code reviews and technical design discussions
Qualifications / Requirements
• 5+ years’ experience developing applications on the ServiceNow platform • Proficiency in JavaScript and ServiceNow scripting (Business Rules, Script Includes, APIs) • 2+ years’ experience developing scoped applications and using ServiceNow Studio • Solid understanding of ServiceNow data model, security model, and access controls • Experience working with ServiceNow modules such as ITSM, ITOM, CMDB, HR, or custom applications • Ability to analyze business requirements and design effective technical solutions • Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills • Excellent communication skills and ability to work with both technical and non technical stakeholders
