• Primary Duties of the Production Worker position include safely performing a wide range of tasks supporting the manufacturing of corrugated boxes, conducting quality checks, material set-up, machine set-up and maintaining a clean and organized workspace. • The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to working safely, a demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and a strong desire to learn manufacturing processes and operate complex machinery.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: • Safely operating a variety of manufacturing equipment, following specific directions, and performing duties as assigned. • Performing complete make-ready and shutdown. • Understanding and verification of Quality Inspection Criteria • Product Identification and Labeling • Maintaining Waste and Efficiency standards • Performing inspections on various equipment for proper operation and reporting questionable conditions. • Performing various housekeeping, cleaning, and organizing functions with minimal supervision to ensure areas are clean and free from debris.
What you need to succeed: • General mechanical aptitude & trouble shooting skills. • Be self-starting/self-motivated and able to work independently. • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and have a sense of urgency to complete tasks accurately and on time. • Good communication skills including the ability to interact with other levels of management and staff. • Be safety conscious, follow directions, and work safely around moving machinery. • Industrial manufacturing experience is preferred.
Requirements: • Ability to read a tape measure (to 1/16” measurement, do basic math, and some computer skills. • Ability to work safely, comply with all safety rules, lift, push or pull up to 50lbs, navigate stairs, stand, walk, bend, and kneel throughout the entire shift. • HS diploma or GED required. • Be safety conscious, follow directions, and work safely around moving machinery. |
