Sr Engineering Technician
• How many years of electronic experience do you have. / Min 5 years required. Must posses the requisite knowledge of how to operate GPTE and Windows based tools. • How many years of electronic test experience do you have? / Min. 5 years required • What procedural reading or SOD reading experience do you have? / Highly recommended experience in following detailed procedures diligently and consistently. • Does candidate have an associate degree? Highly preferred.
• This role requires a quality background and ANSI standard test methods.
• The req is for a Sr. Eng Tech, but we are looking for candidates with a specific work history to fulfill certain tasks that do require a quality background and a history of working ESD / TR-53 / ANSI.
Key Responsibilities • Lead daily ESD tasks for multiple ESD labs across an aerospace production site. • Support ESD Site Lead/Focal on tasks related to: • Annual ESD compliance verification of ESD labs • Periodic random auditing of ESD and humidity control compliance • ESD event investigations • Revision of ESD related quality documentation • Manage daily operation of ESD ticket system • Provide ESD related services within critical time periods • Communicate with internal customers about ESD related tasks and tickets • Have a quality mindset • Collect data for ESD related events for review by ESD SME and ESD Site Focal • Current or prior ESD-TR53 ESD Compliance Verification Technician certification • Experience operating specialized ESD related test equipment • Knowledge of ANSI/ESD S20.20 • Prepare Test Documentation • Lead a small team with work direction, training and scheduling • Operate general purpose test equipment to include oscilloscopes, DVMs, power supplies and function generators.
