• Looking for 3 sub-contractors to support high visibility project at client ; tasks include DO-160 qualification testing and Validation and Verification testing of electronic hardware.
QUESTIONS
• Describe the products for which you have led or participated in qualification testing. To what extent? •Describe the environmental tests you have witnessed or defined for electronic products. • Which laboratory electronics test hardware are you proficient with?
• Use your knowledge of hardware engineering to help client Aerospace deliver innovative solutions that meet the evolving needs of our Business Aviation customers. • Working alongside some of the world's most talented engineers, you will contribute to the development and sustainment of CLIENT advanced avionics products by performing and documenting Qualification and Verification tests. • You will be part of a group of highly committed professionals developing state-of-the-art products for new business aviation aircraft.
Key Responsibilities
• Plan and execute Environmental and EMI Qualification tests on Avionics products • Prepare test reports for regulatory compliance • Assist in product certification for customer & regulatory (e.g., FAA) acceptance • Communicate non-compliance incidents to pertinent parties • Use computer-assisted engineering and design software and equipment
YOU MUST HAVE
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering • 4+ years experience in Hardware/Product Engineering • Experience in Environmental and/or EMI testing for avionics product qualification
WE VALUE
• Familiarity with Product Qualification guidance standards (DO-160, MIL-STD-461, MIL-STD-810, etc.) • Basic knowledge of electronic display principles • Basic knowledge of hardware engineering standards and specifications • Experience with Hardware Verification testing • Experience with optical testing/evaluation instrumentation for electronic display characterization • Application of basic engineering techniques to optimize design of products, parts, systems or processes • Clear and concise communications |
