2. What experiences do you have working with optical metrology and/or modeling?
3. Do you have any experience in glass machining, glass polishing, optical measurements, deposition or coating processes, cleanrooms, or cleaning practices?
• Our team develops new or modifies processes, defines process equipment requirements and specifications, and reviews processing techniques and methods applied in the manufacture, fabrication, and evaluation of Ring Laser Gyroscopes.
• As a Sr Advanced Manufacturing Engineer at Aerospace, you will influence the planning and designing of manufacturing processes for our products.
• You will determine the equipment and tools needed by the team to achieve manufacturing goals according to product specification for both existing and new processes.
• You will support daily production activities and drive producibility improvement projects for our existing products in a dynamic environment.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Provide test and manufacturing support for components of the ring laser gyro product line
• Analyze current process controls for optical components and develop additional methods to measure and control manufacturing processes.
• Utilize CAMP, Lean, and Six-Sigma methodologies to govern engineering standard work practices.
• Investigate and resolve technical issues, facilitate issue identification and analysis.
• Develop improvements in product design and in the manufacturing and assembly processes for cost and cycle time reductions.
• Assist development of new products.
• Support knowledge for test equipment and preventative maintenance plans to maintain factory capacity and efficient product flow.
• Facilitate a self-driven work force culture to achieve RTY, BIQ, COPQ, and other SQDIC goals.
• Test products & software
