How you will do it
* This skilled position involves troubleshooting and repairing installed systems; Including panel repair/reprogramming, device replacement/repair, resolving low voltage circuit troubles, and system testing. * Organize and effectively utilize technical resources, information, material, and support to assure efficient execution of all assigned tasks. * Candidate must possess excellent written/verbal communication and outstanding customer service skills. * The position involves the programming of fire alarms, security, and access control system panels. * On-call and after-hours work required on occasion for customer needs.
What we look for Required *High school diploma or equivalent required. * 2-3 years’ experience with fire alarm * Comfortable working at JCI customer locations including construction sites. * Must be able to interpret blueprints, diagrams, and specifications. * Must be able to manage small move add changes with little Supervision. * A good working knowledge of computers is necessary. * Capable of performing physical labor to include carrying and moving equipment and tools up to 40 lbs. * Must be able to do electrician type work to include pipe bending, wire pulls etc. * Ability to work flexible hours including weekends to meet customer requirements. * Demonstrate a high level of customer service. * Ability to always follow safety guidelines and procedures. * Possess a valid driver’s license and driving record.
