Overall Responsibilities: This position involves the responsibility of the overall monitoring of the department’s production and assisting the department supervisor.
Major Duties and Responsibilities: • Get with FL drivers for raw materials • Update attendance checklist • Help organize laminated rolls and returned goods • Work closely with new leads and new lines • Check and document line speeds • Monitor downtime and document • Make sure lines return tools/equipment to proper locations • Make sure lines start on time • Update vacation calendars on lines • Be proficient at running all the lines • Train all the staff on their lines • Ensure the quality of all products while running efficiently. Check quality of filters on each line • Coordinate the work of all the line workers as directed by Supervisor • Record and report production for the department and the scrap for the department • Keep waste as low as possible • Department organization and housekeeping • Encourage and motivate team members, work well with subordinates and coworkers • Set yourself apart as a leader from your subordinates and lead by example • Provide clear and precise instructions • Respond to all management needs and instructions • Handle all issues professionally and do not engage in any verbal arguments and altercations with coworkers or subordinates • Be a champion for Koch Filter • Adhere to the Company’s confidentiality policy and Managements’ instructions • Team Leaders must have exceptional attendance. • Perform other duties directed by the supervisor. • Must know and follow all company safety policies and procedures. • Maintain warehouse housekeeping and 5S. • Perform these and other comparable related duties as instructed by management. • Participate in all HPT functions

Education and Experience: • Over 6 months to and including 3 years’ experience. • Equivalent to 1 to 3 years applied trades training in a particular or specialized occupation.
Language Skills: Ability to read and comprehend instructions including complicated drawings, blue prints, specifications, charts, tables and various precision measuring instruments
Mathematical Skills: Ability to use basic math including fractions and decimals.
Reasoning Abilities: Requires the use of judgement to comply with instructions and perform work routines involving incoming materials, check accuracy and verify amounts within the limits of recognized or standard methods.
