Job Summary
The F&A (Finance & Accounting) Vision and Transformation (FAVT) Project Manager Director II ensures compliance with accounting policies and procedures. 
He/She manages general ledger activities including month-end closing, reconciliations, and tax requests. 
This position can only be filled with a Former client with a positive rehire status or Retirees referred by the Hiring Manager. 
The FAVT Project Manager Director II’s role requires a deep knowledge of client accounting practices and an understanding of the current Chart of Accounts structure. 
The FAVT Project Manager Director II will be managed by the FAVT Lead.

Job Requirements
Finance & Accounting
• Manages monthly reconciliations for client general ledgers (e.g., General Services, client Inc. Delaware, America Parent, Great Plains, Mayberry, etc.) to ensure accuracy and completeness.
• Prioritizes review efforts based on work complexity, employee skill set, and experience to properly allocate review time.
• Reviews deliverables and provides feedback to direct reports to ensure the production of quality deliverables.
• Verifies supporting documentation is included with deliverables to meet audit requirements.
• Reviews the general ledger to ensure accuracy.
• Monitors and controls projects throughout the project life cycle to ensure constraints (e.g., timing, scope, costs, etc.) are managed.
• Understands and applies standard GAAP methods
• Understands and applies the concepts of a Chart of Accounts
General Management
• Able to plan several weeks in advance to coordinate efforts and manage multiple projects
• Able to work approximately 40 hours per week (potential to work overtime); must be flexible to project assignments as needed; occasional weekends as needed and possible overnight stays depending on the assignment - [Note: individuals will be reimbursed for approved expenses following the client Expense guidelines]
• Must have reliable transportation as the position will require use of candidate’s personal vehicle to travel to different client facilities or customer/vendor sites.[ Note: mileage will be reimbursed]
• Willing to travel by plane or driving personal vehicle or rental car [Note: mileage, airfare, rental car will be reimbursed]
Minimum Requirements
• Minimum 6 plus years of client F&A experience in the areas of General Ledger, Consolidations, Reporting and Planning
• Skills required: Advanced/Expert level in MS Office include Project, SharePoint, PMG site, and skills associated with training listed above.
