Job Description
JOB SUMMARY
* Responsible for the accurate collection of Manufacturer Part Numbers from stored, Non-stock inventory parts, and populating onto a mass Excel spreadsheet for delivery to the Master Data Team (MDT). 
* Inventory parts information will be populated based on the Standard Naming Convention, and must meet the minimum requirements prior to submission to the MDT. 
* The candidate will physically handle a variety of categories of parts, ranging from seals and bearings, to high-powered motors, and must have a basic understanding of what the part is, and how to locate MPN/MFR information. 
* The work environment will be in a warehouse setting, with possible exposure to elements such as high-noise, dust, hot and cold temperature conditions. * The candidate must possess good attention-to-detail, ability to work efficiently in teams of two with little supervision, and driven by high-quality results

ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
• Collects Manufacturer Part Numbers from Non-Stock Storeroom parts, by physically picking up and searching for an “MPN” stamp
• Collects Manufacturer Name, and any other relevant information critical to identifying what the part is
• Populates the Mass Item Spreadsheet with the collected MPN/MFR information
• Ensures all populated data on the Mass Item Spreadsheet is of quality, prior to submission to the MDT
• Submits completed Mass Item Spreadsheets in batches, to the MDT, who is then responsible for entering into the organizations New Item Creation system
• Receives back newly created JD Edwards Item Numbers, and utilizes this information to print off labels, and apply to the physical parts and bins where they are stored
• Performs inventory cycle counts on existing, and newly created item records
• Performs a crib crawl on existing item records, and collects all relevant and missing data and populates on a Missing Data Spreadsheet
• Submits completed Missing Data Spreadsheet in batches, to the MDT, who is then responsible for entering into the organizations ERP system
• Ensures compliance with health, safety and environmental regulations and requirements.
