• Bachelor’s degree in engineering • Experience with technical reviews of repairs • Experience with mechanical or electrical engineering • Experience in aerospace manufacturing • Experience with Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) / Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS) • We have an exciting opportunity within Aerospace to be part the Commercial Item Justification (CIJ) Center of Excellence (COE). • The CIJ COE is a highly integrated team of Engineers and Pricing Analysts serving as a point of contact for commercial item status and support for FAR 12 proposals and purchases under FAR 15 programs.
• You will perform internal and external market research to evaluate supplier commercial item assertions in support of FAR 15 programs. • This includes understanding comparable commercial products sold in the commercial marketplace and working cross-functionally within CIJ COE with pricing analysts to establish market pricing.
• The Senior Advanced Producibility Engineer will review diverse products and systems to assert and defend commerciality in accordance with FAR 2.101, as part of a highly engaged and integrated engineering and pricing team. • This position will work cross-functionally with the Integrated Supply Chain, Compliance, Program Engineers, Government Sourcing & Procurement and Customer Business Teams. This position may interface with suppliers, and the US Government.

• The Senoir Advanced Producibility Engineer plays a key role responsible for supporting the Aerospace Government Sourcing Organizations. • You will perform internal and external market research to evaluate supplier commercial item assertions in support of FAR 15 programs. • This includes understanding comparable commercial products sold in the commercial marketplace and working cross-functionally within CIJ COE with pricing analysts to establish market pricing. • The Sr. Producibility Engineer will use various tools to and techniques to evaluate supplier technical commercial assertions and conduct due diligence by conducting market research for similar commercial parts, extract and analyst drawings, specifications, and end platform usage. • This role interacts with CIJ Price Analysts, CIJ Director, buyers, subcontract specialists, programs, and proposal operations.
YOU MUST HAVE
• 3 to 4 years engineering experience
