• What experience do you have with gas turbine engine control system components such as electronic controller, fuel control, lubrication module, wire harness, start motor, oil level sensor, speed sensor, temperature sensors, pressure sensors, etc.? • What experience do you have with the IBM Engineering Lifecycle Management (ELM) tool suite (DOORSNG, EWM, ETM, etc.)? • What experience do you have with trade study development, execution, and documentation? • What experience do you have with system integration? • What experience do you have with requirements analysis and decomposition?
• Responsible for designing, developing, integrating, and verifying control systems for Auxiliary Power Units (APUs) in the Engines & Power Systems (EPS) business unit. You will be integral in creating system solutions that meet the evolving needs of our customers.
Key Responsibilities:
• Working with a team to develop control system components (LRUs) and electronic controller for a new APU program. • Executing and documenting trade studies. • Integrating control system with APU. • Control system requirements development, analysis, decomposition, and validation. • Develop and implement control algorithms and software for APUs. • Control system design, integration, and validation. • Collaboration with cross-functional teams. • Troubleshoot and resolve control system issues. • Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
You Must Have:
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, or aerospace engineering • 8+ years of systems engineering experience in support of safety-critical aerospace development • Strong knowledge and understanding of control systems engineering principles • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities • Experience with control system design, implementation, and testing
