Job Description
Position Summary
Provides frontline assistance and support to Sr. Samsara Admin Analyst, managing devices and assignments, validating data quality, monitoring dashboards and alerts, and helping Area Work Centers resolve day to day telematics issues. 
The analyst ensures accurate driver–vehicle associations, healthy device status, and reliable telemetry that leadership and safety teams depend on for operations.

Scope of work
The Samsara Telematics Analyst will assist in handling day to day administration of Samsara, including managing users, drivers, devices, and asset data while ensuring consistent naming conventions and device health. 
They will monitor dashboards, resolve unassigned trips and incorrect driver assignments, configure and maintain alerts, and support AWCs with troubleshooting telematics issues, such as connectivity, driver pairing, and camera alignment. 
The analyst will also maintain process documentation, and uphold strict confidentiality when handling sensitive telemetry, location history, and driver-related data.

•The Samsara Telematics Analyst will assist in handling day to day administration of Samsara, including managing users, drivers, devices, and asset data while ensuring consistent naming conventions and device health. 
•They will monitor dashboards, resolve unassigned trips and incorrect driver assignments, configure and maintain alerts, and support AWCs with troubleshooting telematics issues, such as connectivity, driver pairing, and camera alignment. 
•The analyst will also maintain process documentation, and uphold strict confidentiality when handling sensitive telemetry, location history, and driver-related data

Education & Experience Required: 
_-Open to a college graduate
- Associate required, bachelor’s degree preferred (Information Systems, Supply Chain/Logistics, Transportation Management, Business Analytics, or related)
-The ideal candidate is an entry level analyst. Candidate must be able to work onsite, maintain accuracy in data handling, and demonstrate professionalism when interacting with field teams.

Technical Skills 
•Comfort administering Samsara (or similar GPS/telematics) or demonstrated aptitude to learn quickly.
•Samsara centric)
•Strong Excel (filters, pivots, v lookup/x lookup) for data validation.
•Ability to build and tune dashboards, reports, and alerts for field users.
•Basic troubleshooting mindset for hardware connectivity, driver pairing, and mobile app issues.
•General understanding of GPS/IoT telemetry (signal, firmware, data cadence).
