Job Description
• The Assembler II is responsible for performing a variety of moderately complex assembly tasks in support of electronic products and systems. 
• This role involves following detailed work instructions, engineering drawings, and industry standards to assemble, inspect, and test electronic components, sub-assemblies, and final assemblies. 
• The Assembler II ensures that all work meets strict quality, safety, and compliance requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
• Assemble electronic components, wiring, and hardware into sub-assemblies and final products in accordance with engineering drawings, schematics, and written instructions.
• Perform soldering, wiring, crimping, and mechanical assembly tasks using appropriate tools and equipment.
• Inspect work for accuracy, quality, and compliance with IPC/J-STD and company standards.
• Identify and report nonconformances or defects to supervision and assist in corrective actions.
• Maintain accurate production and inspection records as required.
• Follow established ESD, FOD, and safety protocols in all assembly operations.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance quality, efficiency, and throughput.
• Collaborate with engineering, quality, and production teams to resolve technical issues.

Qualifications:
• High school diploma or equivalent; technical training in electronics assembly preferred.
• 2+ years of experience in electronics or electro-mechanical assembly, preferably in a defense or aerospace environment.
• Working knowledge of IPC-A-610, J-STD-001, or equivalent soldering/assembly standards (certification a plus).
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, schematics, and written work instructions.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD security clearance if required. Physical Requirements:
• Ability to sit or stand for extended periods.
• Manual dexterity to work with small components and hand tools.
• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs as needed.

Work Environment:
• Production floor environment with exposure to electronics assembly equipment, soldering stations, and test fixtures.
• Adherence to ESD and FOD protocols as required.
