Sr. Technician, Quality Inspection

Job Summary

In this role, you will act as a Scheduler/Planner, reviewing requests for Quality Inspections and allocating technical resources across North America and Mexico to meet customer schedule needs. 
This is an excellent learning opportunity in a fast-paced, growth-driven environment. 
You will provide technical expertise in support of and our customers' Quality programs, liaise with customers, and dispatch personnel for aerospace source inspections. Your responsibilities will include maintaining service levels, utilizing critical thinking to allocate resources, managing communication between customers and inspectors, and ensuring efficient operations and customer satisfaction. 
This position requires maintaining accurate records, recommending process improvements, and monitoring inspection progress to meet deadlines.
 

Roles and Responsibilities 
Provide technical expertise in support of and customers' Quality programs.
Schedule and dispatch resources for inspections, particularly in aerospace.
Maintain professional relationships with customers, suppliers, and Inspectors.
Review customer requests and determine optimal resource allocation based on schedule demands.
Communicate effectively with customers and inspectors to resolve scheduling issues.
Maintain accurate records of transactions and ensure smooth work transitions between shifts.
Recommend corrective actions and continuous improvements to processes.
Review technical documents to ensure correctness and adequacy.
Monitor progress of inspections to meet customer deadlines.
Utilize various communication tools to efficiently manage scheduling and dispatch.
Perform data entry for management reviews and service level measurements.
Handle all other duties as assigned
 

Basic Qualifications 
U.S. Citizenship status required due to client requirements.
High school diploma and 4+ years of relevant experience.
Ability to work remotely while maintaining team communication.
Proficient in Excel, Microsoft Teams, and other structured data tools.
Strong oral and written communication skills.
Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment and adhere to standard work processes.
Ability to work occasional overtime and weekends.
 

Preferred Qualifications
Previous Quality Inspection experience.
Prior experience in resource scheduling driven by customer demand.
Knowledge of aerospace quality standards.
Experience with dispatching personnel in aerospace, automotive, or logistics industries.
Proficient with SharePoint data management.
Professional mindset with a strong focus on customer requirements.
Understanding of automotive or aerospace supply base and related requirements.
Ability to quickly learn and apply new information.
Continuous improvement mindset to enhance task efficiency and effectiveness.
