• As an Sr Advanced Manufacturing Engineer at Aerospace, you will influence the planning and designing of manufacturing processes for our products. • You will determine the equipment and tools needed by the team to achieve manufacturing goals according to product specification for both existing and new processes. • You will maximize efficiency by analyzing the layout of equipment, workflow, assembly methods, and work force utilization. • Support daily production activities and drive producibility improvement projects for our existing products in a dynamic environment.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Provide test and manufacturing support for Ring Laser Gyro (RLG) and Tactical Guidance Products (TGP) production. • Perform yield and performance data analysis to monitor process capability, product health trends and drive yield improvements. • Utilize CAMP, Lean, and Six-Sigma methodologies to govern engineering standard work practices. • Investigate and resolve technical issues, facilitate issue identification and analysis. • Develop improvements in product design and in the manufacturing and assembly processes for cost and cycle time reductions. • Assist development of new products. • Support knowledge for test equipment and preventative maintenance plans to maintain factory capacity and efficient product flow. • Facilitate a self-driven work force culture to achieve RTY, BIQ, COPQ, and other SQDIC goals. • Test products & software
U.S. PERSON REQUIREMENTS
MUST HAVE: • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as Engineering, Physics, or Mathematics • 5+ years experience
