Job Description • Responsible for the planning and scheduling of materials through the production schedules. • May coordinate with purchasing, production, and engineering. • Requires a high school diploma with at least 2-4 years of experience in the field or in a related area. Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures. • Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of complicated tasks. • May direct and lead the work of others. • Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. • A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected. Required Skills • Under minimal supervision, coordinates and expedites the flow of equipment to vendors. Establishes and communicates completion dates for deliverable. • Administratively receive equipment from vendors and coordinate with leads to process back into our system. • Coordinates the interface between logistics functions such as transportation, maintenance and warehousing to ensure efficient, timely, and cost-effective support to the customer. • Coordinates with customers to ensure desired logistics objectives, priorities, and schedules are met and communicated to management. • Coordinates with Environmental, Safety, and other Shared Services functional areas as appropriate in regard to logistical functions performed under contract. • Coordinates and conducts pick-up and delivery of measuring equipment with customers, employees, and management. • Follows established standard work instructions ensuring quality throughout the processes. • Packages equipment for shipping, ensuring all required paperwork is attached appropriately and billing the appropriate accounts. • Contacts vendors by mail, email, or phone to coordinate RMA/RFQ's, expected completion, tracking of shipments. Update system to reflect most current status. • Experience with Microsoft office. • Performs all other duties as assigned. Required Education • HS Diploma Desired Skills • Familiar with hand tools. • Additional Information • Must have a valid US driver’s license. • Experience with Microsoft office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint). • Specific contract requirements regarding education and experience will prevail. |
