• Seeking a database administrator whose technical acumen and knowledge of databases will support LOGCAP Program Management Operations.
• Solely responsible for the development and maintenance of operation’s databases.
• Candidate will optimize project execution by overseeing operational databases and ensuring those databases meet the established standards for reliability, usability, and performance.
• Candidate must be a highly organized self-starter capable of working in a fast-paced, multi-discipline team environment with the ability to manage competing priorities to achieve goals.

Responsibilities will include:
• Must have professional working knowledge with database administration to include but not limited to designing, building and implementing database systems
• Responsible for the design and creation of data structures, upkeep of needed indices and refresh of the data warehouse used for running reports
• Actively monitor existing database systems to ensure optimal performance. Respond to errors, latency, or other performance issues as they arise
• Ensure all backup/recovery efforts at the database layer remain consistent with the requirements of the organization
• Data migration/integration
• Applies understanding of relational databases concepts and query languages to design summary and aggregate tables which support analysis
• Monitors, analyzes and resolves issues related to information flow and data architecture standards
• Responsible for the completion of required reports in accordance with established policies, procedures, systems, and requirements approved by the company
• Performs a wide range of administrative, office support, and coordination activities in support of the Program Management Office (PMO) Operations Department

Education and Experience:
• Must be fluent in written and spoken English
• Must have professional working knowledge with database administration to include but not limited to designing, building, implementing, managing and maintain database systems
• Must have 5 years of experience in the development and optimization of SQL Databases
• Overseas deployment experience on a LOGCAP contingency environment assignment is preferred
• Requires working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Visio, PowerPoint, Outlook, Excel, and Access)

Preferred:
• Project management skills, including forward thinking, leadership, accountability, flexibility, focus under pressure and respect for diverse perspectives
• Possess passport book (not passport card) with at least 15 months of remaining validity and with at least six blank visa/stamp pages remaining
• Must possess driver's license with at least six months of remaining validity
• Previous Operations experience or equivalent Military experience a plus
• General understanding of LOGCAP concept of operations to include Performance Work Statement (PWS) and associate technical exhibits
