Here are the requirements: 1.) Previous mechanical experience maintaining machinery in a high paced environment 2.) Good electrical skills but we’re not looking for an electrician 3.) Able to trouble shoot and solve common mechanical problems 4.) Someone who can work with little direction but within an organized structure 5.) Trainable 6.) Willing to work some weekends and overtime as required
• The Maintenance Technician will be responsible to perform maintenance and repair of paper board manufacturing equipment and will report to the Maintenance Supervisor.
Responsibilities: • 3-5 years of mechanical maintenance experience. & Basic Electrical experience required • Prior experience working in a manufacturing environment • Corrugated and/or Converting Experience a plus • Ability to fabricate basic machine parts • welding experience – Desired but not required
Basic knowledge of pneumatics & hydraulics. • Skilled at rebuilding rotating equipment, including pumps, gear boxes, etc. • Good knowledge of electrical systems • Ability to change and check fuses, circuit breakers, overloads, etc. • Able to install starters and disconnects • Able to perform mechanical and electrical troubleshooting on the equipment”.
What you need to succeed: • High school diploma or equivalent • Military training and or Technical School or equivalent work experience required • Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus
