JR UX ACCOUNT/PROJECT MANAGER

RESPONSIBILITY LEVEL:
• The Junior User Experience (UX) Account / Project Manager is an integral member of the UX Team.
• This person, working closely with the Design Operations Manager, will coordinate projects, schedules, and track and report the progress of projects.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES:
1. Assisting and supporting the Design Operations Manager.
a. In addition to the tasks below, this person may be asked to perform clerical duties, maintain contact with clients and parties involved through email and phone calls, answer questions and concerns, prepare presentations, and enter project data.
2. Create Project Statements of Work (SOWs) and Plans
a. This person will develop concrete, detailed plans for a project, including the schedule, the budget, identifying project goals, and setting a timeline for the project. He or She will collaborate with various teams and hold meetings to develop project plans and present them to upper-level management before starting the project.
3. Monitor Project Process
a. Closely monitors projects ensuring they remain on track, meet deadlines, stay under budget and develop according to plan. This person is not only responsible for identifying project objectives, but ensuring they’re met. Additionally, this person identifies scope creep and works with the team to create Change Orders if necessary.

SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
1. Familiarity and experience working with a design team.
2. Ensure strategy, goals and objectives for each project are stated and understood.
3. Ability to translate project objectives into activities / tasks.
4. Proficient in Microsoft suite of products, including Microsoft Project.
5. Organized.
6. Multi-tasking.
7. Processed oriented.
8. Experience working with and collaborating with others.
9. Ability to communicate effectively with upper-management and businesses, including writing skills.
10. Ability to manage own time.


REQUIREMENTS:
• A bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Communication, Project Management or related fields and a minimum of two (2) years as a project coordinator or project management assistant.

• Occasional travel may be required to build and maintain relationships and to gain a clear understanding of user needs.
