• Project Engineer with Systems engineering experience on military contracts. • Must have experience with airborne software, electronic parts, hardware assembly, and test. • Also, must have experience generating hardware and software update proposals and working directly with the GE customer. • Role is to work with the C130 NIU and GE-MDEC (F110) board manufacturers to ensure on-time delivery of production hardware, including, but not limited to, coordination of design for obsolescence and modernization of the hardware, including engineering specifications and drawings per RTCA DO-160 and DO-254. 10% travel required.
• Performs engineering design evaluations and works to complete projects within budget and scheduling restraints. Develops, implements, and monitors systems policies and controls to ensure data accuracy, security, and regulatory compliance. • Reviews reports of computer and peripheral equipment production, malfunction, and maintenance to determine and address problems. • Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures. • Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. • Performs a variety of tasks.
** Bachelor's Degree Required in Engineering (Electrical or Mechanical preferred)
