Additional Job Details: • Oversee all civil, equipment, communication and electrical work on the transmission line to ensure it is being done in a quality manner and following EOR and OEM specifications • Responsible for clearing, pole setting, hardware termination, splice, cable and fiber pulling and cable management • Perform assigned QAQC and assigned Verification Validation checks • Interface with utilities and regulating entities for crossing agreements • Develop & oversee site lock-out /tag-out procedure • Coordinate & monitor electrical contractor’s work • Monitor / audit contractor's quality and safety programs • Coordinate & monitor all conductor, fiber and ground testing • Identify any deficiencies (design, quality, schedule, work) • Review / accept contractor work and documentation • Monitor contractor work progress & performance to support invoice and milestone validation • Evaluate & assess all scope change claims for validity • Execute Request For Information (RFI) process • Oversee anchor design review, installation and testing • Compliance to OSHA and jobsite rules • Develop and track punch list items • Coordinate interconnecting facility terminations • Oversee restoration work is performed to specification • MUST be willing to travel and work 60+ hours per week work plus holidays • MUST be proficient in Microsoft Office • Experience with Primavera is preferred • MUST be proficient with environmental best management practice standards • MUST have experience with various transmission pole installations • MUST have a strong understanding “Right of Way” regulations • MUST be familiar with utility crossing best practices • MUST have experience with transmission cable pulling (various sizes) • Must have experience with fiber installation, connecting and testing • Must have experience in high voltage transmission lines • BS: Electrical Engineering • 3-5 years of experience in construction supervisor role • Detailed self-performing knowledge of transmission line installation work |
