Required:

Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education, with 5 years of professional experience; or 3 years of professional experience with a related Master’s degree.
 

MUST HAVE TOOLING EXPERIENCE (NEW REQUIREMENT)
 

ASQ Certification
 

Strong understanding in AS9100 and ISO 9001 Quality Management Systems.
 

Must be able to effectively use Microsoft Office products for reports, schedules, written communication, presentations, and data evaluations and collection.
 

 

Desired Skills:

 

Black belt or Greenbelt certified.
Working knowledge of Solid Works, CATIA and all aspects of working with solid models.
Understand and can perform Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GDT) inspections, able to create inspection plans and drawings as needed for detail parts, assemblies and able to perform project tooling inspections.
Strong problem solving skills.
Strong communication interpersonal skills needed for collaboration, communication and presentations (both oral and written).
Able to perform RCCA
 

Position Description:

Develops, modifies, applies and maintains quality evaluation and control systems and protocols for processing materials into partially finished or finished materials product. Collaborates with engineering and manufacturing functions to ensure quality standards are in place. Devises and implements methods and procedures for inspecting, testing and evaluating the precision and accuracy of products and production equipment. Designs and analyzes inspection and testing processes, mechanisms and equipment; conducts quality assurance tests; and performs statistical analysis to assess the cost of and determine the responsibility for, products or materials that do not meet required standards and specifications. Audits quality systems for deficiency identification and correction. Ensures that corrective measures meet acceptable reliability standards and that documentation is compliant with requirements. May specialize in the areas of design, incoming material, production control, product evaluation and reliability, inventory control and/or research and development as they apply to product or process quality. May be certified in lean and six-sigma quality engineering methodologies. Responsible for basic quality services including leading supplier management, evaluations, part acceptance planning, manufacturing process and quality plan review, defect analysis, timely root cause and corrective action implementation for affected products.

Responsible for basic quality services including supplier management, evaluations, part acceptance planning, manufacturing process and quality plan review, defect analysis, corrective and preventive action, project tool review and validation. Interface at all levels of the organization to identify and drive systemic root cause and corrective action. Responsible and accountable for initiating effective methods and improvements that drive and improve overall quality performance reducing defects and Scrap, Rework.
