The responsibilities of this position include partnering with customers to document analytic requirements. - Gain experience developing data driven solutions, while working closely with other members of the RMS IT Analytics team - Use tools such as SQL Server Data Tools, Tableau, SAP Business Objects, Relational Database Management Systems, and OLAP databases - Have the opportunity to introduce new analytics tools based on strengths and experiences - Customer demos - Agile Software Development The selected candidate can also expect to participate in data analytics projects to address problems and identify new data driven business opportunities beyond the current business focus. Basic Qualifications: - Demonstrated ability to work with customers to develop and deploy business analytics solutions - Demonstrated ability to apply data analytics concepts and methodologies to business requirements - Experience with Business Intelligence Tools - Experience with Relational Databases - Experience conducting software development activities within an agile environment - Prior experience working with databases and strong SQL Background - Knowledge of Hadoop/ Big Data Analytics Desired: - Experience developing with Big Data technologies (i.e. Hadoop, Spark, Hive, Presto, and Parquet etc.) - Knowledge of Procedural languages; such as: R, Python - Demonstrated experience utilizing Agile frameworks for project lifecycle and/or understanding of Agile development concepts - Experience with JIRA Defect Management - Experience successfully managing multiple tasks - Working knowledge of Microsoft Business Intelligence tools such as SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS), SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS), and SQL Server Analysis Services (SSAS) - Development experience using an ETL tool like Talend, Alteryx, Informatica etc. - Experience with SAP Business Objects, SLT / Data Services and HANA - Experience with ASP.NET, C#, HTML, JavaScript, and CSS - Experience with agile data prep tools such as Alteryx, Tallend, etc. - Ability to work in a collaborative, virtual, and team-based environment - Experience successfully managing multiple tasks - Effective written and verbal communication skills
