• This position is responsible for providing support to research scientists in the completion of research projects or activities. • He/she will also be responsible for conducting routine sample analysis, routine experiments, reporting and communicating results. • In addition, this person will be responsible for maintaining laboratory instruments, and ensuring EHS and Food safety compliance.
Principal Accountabilities: • 20% - Provide support to research scientists in the completion of research projects or activities, including analytical method validation • 60% - Conduct routine sample analysis, routine experiments, organizing and communicating results • 10% - Maintain laboratory equipment, handling sample requests • 10% - Ensure corporate EHS and Food Safety compliance
Required: • Master of Science degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, or related Science field or 5 years’ experience • Minimum 2 years HPLC and UHPLC experience • Effective communication skills (written, verbal and listening) • Effective organizational skills • Ability to work effectively and cooperatively in a team environment • Demonstrated willingness to learn
Preferred: • Experience in a high throughput laboratory • LC maintenance and troubleshooting
