QUALITY LAB TECHNICIAN
Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
• Performs analyses on all routine process control samples for the catalyst plants.
• Most work is of a rush nature with results required in less than one hour.
• Must be capable of operating all analytical instruments in the Control Laboratory; a UV/VIS Spectrophotometer, an ICP, x-ray fluorescence, particle analyzer, automatic titrators, refractometers, densitometers, and other physical property analysis as required.
Basic Qualifications:
• High School Diploma or GED
• 1 year of experience in an industrial/manufacturing environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
• 2 years of experience of troubleshooting/rapid problem solving.
• Basic working knowledge of Microsoft package.
• 2 years of experience in a chemical laboratory environment.
• BS degree in Chemistry.
• Experience with SAP, LIMS
