Education: High School or Equivalent Production Line Operator: • Invested in learning all of Operator roles. Ensures the safe, efficient and secure operation of production lines. • Increases overall plant productivity and efficiency by providing support to the production lines by being management-oriented and responsive. • Supports Supervisor and Lead Person. • Troubleshoots problems with production flow and equipment. Leads by example by following Client's “Guiding Principles”. • Ensures that the correct information is shared to enable operators to make products that are within customer specifications. Responsibilities Include: Day to day operations: • Running the production lines. • Practicing safe behaviors, leading by example and making sure you are doing your job safely; • Commitment to learning all operator initiatives, cross training in all areas. • Team building: Participate in training, communicate and follow through on what is needed for all areas to succeed. Promote and support client rules and policies. Food Safety/Quality: • Ensure client's and our customer’s food safety and quality criteria are communicated and met. Housekeeping: • Ensure daily tasks are being completed, keeping the plant ready at all times. Minimum Qualifications: • High School Diploma or equivalent required. • Ability to work 8hr shifts with occasional 12 hr shifts for vacation fill in or overtime. • Ability to be on call. • 50 lb. lifting requirement on a daily basis. • Demonstrated high performance (work performance, attendance record, safety record, BBS activities, LEAN • leadership, willingness to lead change). • Multi-task abilities, i.e, simultaneous activities occur in area and you need to anticipate issues and plan ahead. • Detail oriented-ability to see the details and, for example, ensure correct labels in use, correct oil selected, correct adds made, etc. Preferred: • Must have advanced computer skills (I-Fix, Informance, SAP). • Previous Food Industry Experience |
