Job Description Responsibilities.
a.    Applications Development Analyst

The Contractor shall perform the following tasks for each project assigned:
•    Maintain and support existing applications.
•    Provide program modifications and enhancements as identified.
•    Develop application components.
•    Perform configuration changes to existing applications.
•    Perform systems analysis, design, and programming.
•    Provide user support and problem solving activities.
•    Perform testing, quality assurance and performance tuning of applications.
•    Perform system implementation.
•    Develop technical documentation and provide software maintenance as required by the Contract Manager.


Qualification Requirements.

a.    Minimum Experience.
1)    Ability to communicate effectively (verbally and in writing) with technical and user staff;
2)    Experience developing and maintaining database driven web-based applications;
3)    Experience developing database driven applications in a Microsoft Visual Studio.Net environment with C#, VB6, VB.NET, ASP, and Oracle 10g;

4)    Experience using Microsoft SQL Server through 2008 and Oracle 10g;
5)    Experience using object-oriented development techniques;
6)    Experience using 3-tier logical/physical architected applications;
7)    Experience using Microsoft Visual Source Safe and Team Foundation Server (TFS).

b.    Preferred Experience.
1)    Familiarity with the Department’s e-Commerce Broker financial system;
2)    Familiarity with DFS security and information technology related procedures;
3)    Experience using Crystal Reports Server and Windows Script File (WSF);
4)    Experience using Control-M, IBM FileNet P8 platform, and Windows Task Scheduler;
5)    Experience using the Department’s licensing systems.
6)    Experience developing applications for the Department’s, Office of Information Technology.
